1956 Berkeley This is a car that Scott got when he was 10, in 1978. Original power was by a 328 three cylinder Excelsior motorcycle engine, chain drive, front wheel drive. Total weight of the car in that form was 725 lbs. The Excelsior's were not known for reliability, and the replacement is a 500cc Honda. Plans are to finish the car someday - it will be slightly heavier, but should have a top speed of around 100 mph and be a lot of fun for slaloms (read autocrosses, in the U.S.).

1956 Corvette Purchased from the original owner in the 70's when it had 37,000 miles on it - purchase price was $3700 . It has the original 265 c.i. engine with factory dual four barrels. The car now has 43,000 miles. The other unique features are a power soft top and a counter below the tach which tells you how many thousands of rpms the engine has turned (188,000).

1999 Marcos Mantaray Spyder We purchased this car in the spring of 2017 from a chap in the United Kingdom. It is a rather unique car in that only 17 were built using the 3.9 Rover all aluminum V8. It is believed to be the only one in North America. Right hand drive, very quick with excellent handling, and a car that grabs a lot of attention.).

2000 Qvale Mangusta Not quite British, but close - made in Italy. The car is fitted with an aluminum Ford Cobra 32 valve V8 mated to a five speed. It has a roto-top and does draw a lot of comments. 160 mph and all the comforts of a luxury car. To give you an idea of size, it is about the same length as a TR3 but almost a foot and a half wider. Very limited production (284) and a fun car to drive. |

1992 Acura NSX I think these cars are as almost perfect as a manufacturer could ever make. Beautiful lines, incredible handling, excellent acceleration and top speed. Everything about this car puts a smile on your face. |

1997 TVR Chimaera A long awaited car to the collection, this car came to me from Vancouver in the spring of 2015 and is believed to be one of only three in Canada. It is right hand drive and is powered by an all aluminum 4 litre engine that was derived from the 215 cubic inch engine originally fitted to 1962 Oldsmobile Jetfires and a five speed transmission. The electrics are a little quirky (although they all work) and the car is a treat to drive with a top speed exceeding 150 mph. |
